Nolan Gibson

Bob Dylan - Mama, You Been on My Mind

Blues wunderkind Nolan Gibson took a deep dive into Dylan's discography with this outtake from 1964's Another Side of Bob Dylan. Gibson marries technical prowess with passion both vocally and on guitar to deliver an interpretation that is simultaneously tempestuous and extremely pleasant.

Duane Rutter

Sun Kil Moon - Glenn Tipton

Americana songwriter Duane Rutter (aka my old man) describes "Glenn Tipton", from Sun Kil Moon (aka Mark Kozelek)'s 2003 album Ghosts of the Great Highway as being "up there with 'the Weight'" as a perfect song.
